NGS conducted a Workshop on September 28, 2000 to inform
interested parties of future NGS contracting. NGS provided briefings
on the
surveying and mapping work NGS is contracting out.
These include aerial photography over airports, aerial photography over
U.S. shoreline, geodetic control at airports, shoreline mapping, and
height modernization projects. This Workshop and a
Request For Information was
announced in the Commerce Business Daily
on July 18, 2000.
