| In response to a major recommendation in the study, A NATIONAL PRESERVATION PROGRAM FOR AGRICULTURAL LITERATURE, the National Agricultural Library (NAL) conducted a survey of its microfilm collection. One of the goals of the survey was to identify NAL's holdings of microfilm produced from 1974 to 1987 during the NAL led cooperative project with state land grant university libraries to microfilm each state’s agricultural, forestry and extension publications. The NAL holdings of the state land grant microfilm are presented here and can be searched by state, or title. NAL is in the process of completing its holdings of this microfilm, and the lists will be amended to include the new film as it is acquired. NAL is also involved in a new microfilm project with the land grant libraries to preserve agricultural literature from the states (Preservation Program Activities). As microfilm from this project is added to the NAL collection, the holdings will be added to these lists. |
