Mission:
NIEHS Town Meetings bring together the lay public who are interested in public health and the environment, with state and local health professionals, state and local government officials, academicians, environmental health professionals, and other groups. The meetings also offer an opportunity to promote a broader public understanding of environmental health issues in the local media.
Function:
Coordinates 3-4 Town Meetings each year, including work on Agenda, theme, speakers, funding and logistics.
