Integrated Solvent Substitution Data System (ISSDS)
ISSDS facilitates access to solvent
alternative information from multiple data systems through
a single, easy to use command structure.

Solvent Alternatives Guide (SAGE)
SAGE is a logic tree system that evaluates the user's
current operating scenario and then identifies possible surface cleaning alternative
solvent chemistries and processes that best suits the defined operating and material
requirements.

Hazardous Solvent Substitution Data System (HSSDS)
HSSDS is an on-line, comprehensive system of
information on alternatives to hazardous solvents and related subjects. The
HSSDS contains product information, material safety data sheets, and other
related information.

Joint Service Pollution Prevention (P2) Technical Library
The Joint Service P2 Technical Library is an electronic resource maintained by
the Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center (NFESC).
To foster technology transfer with other organizations, the NFESC has made the
P2 Library available by direct access or by search facilities:

Department of Defense (DoD) Ozone Depleting Chemical/Substance
Information
- U.S. Air Force Ozone
Depleting Chemicals (ODC) Information Exchange ,
provides an information exchange service to the Air Force weapons system community
to aid in complying with federally mandated ODC reduction goals; courtesy
of the Brooks Air Force Base ,
Human Systems Center (HSC)
- DoD Ozone Depleting
Substance (ODS) MILSPEC Database ,
one component of the overall DoD program to eliminate the use of chemicals
which deplete the stratospheric ozone layer. The database contains a listing
of military and federal specifications which may require the use of Class
I ODSs. The database includes information on each document including identity
of the ODS, how it is used, whether non-ODS alternatives are specified, potential
substitutes for the ODS called out in the documents, and modification/cancellation
information. The database is maintained by the U.S. Navy CFC & Halon Information
Clearinghouse. Send comments or suggestions regarding this database to NavyOzone@aol.com.
- U.S. Navy CFC & Halon Clearinghouse
provides users of ozone-depleting substances (ODSs) with a central point of
contact for information, data, and expertise on Navy ODS policy, EPA regulations,
and alternative chemicals, processes, and equipment. You may contact the Clearinghouse
at: (703) 769-1883 (FAX: (703) 769-1885) or send e-mail to: NavyOzone@aol.com.

Solvent Handbook Database System (SHDS)
SHDS
is a database providing access to environmental and safety information on solvents
used in maintenance facilities and paint strippers. SHDS contains empirical data
from laboratory testing.

Solvents Database (SOLV-DB)
SOLV-DB will help you find a
wide variety of data on solvents quickly and easily. If you are a Process Engineer,
SOLV-DB will help you make intelligent choices about which solvent will do the
job -- without leaving a legacy of problems. If you are a "Hands-On" User of solvents,
SOLV-DB will help you understand what you are dealing with, and help you find
out how to handle the materials wisely. If you are an Environmental Engineer,
SOLV-DB will help you determine your responsibilities under routine conditions,
and in case of accidents. If you are a member of the General Public, SOLV-DB will
help you locate basic facts about materials of concern, and help you appreciate
the trade-offs involved in solvent selection.

Materials Compatibility Database (MATCOMPAT)
MATCOMPAT provides laboratory test data
to assist in the implementation of ODC-free alternative solvents
that are compatible with materials used in electronic assemblies.
