work was carried out in a number of areas concerning
photographic image science including color reproduction,
impact of grain, sharpness perception, and the
relationship between graininess and sharpness
for low-speed color film systems, as well as responsibility
for applying statistical methods and modeling
to photographic product development.
- 1996-1997-assignment in Manufacturing
Research and Engineering, Eastman Kodak Company,
Rochester, NY to lead WW effort introducing Statistical
Process Control techniques into complex manufacturing
processes.
- January 1999-appointed Laboratory
Head of the Polymer Characterization and Surface
Science Laboratory in the Analytical Technology
Division, R&D.
