  • October 1979-joined the Research Division, Kodak Limited, Harrow, UK. Research work was carried out in a number of areas concerning photographic image science including color reproduction, impact of grain, sharpness perception, and the relationship between graininess and sharpness for low-speed color film systems, as well as responsibility for applying statistical methods and modeling to photographic product development.

  • 1996-1997-assignment in Manufacturing Research and Engineering, Eastman Kodak Company, Rochester, NY to lead WW effort introducing Statistical Process Control techniques into complex manufacturing processes.

  • January 1999-appointed Laboratory Head of the Polymer Characterization and Surface Science Laboratory in the Analytical Technology Division, R&D.

  • May 2001-appointed Unit Director of the Nano & Conventional Dispersion Center, as part of the Chemicals Development Division, MRE.
