Big Bend National Park Daily Report

The Old Maverick Road and Santa Elena Canyon Nature Trail are closed.
The road from Castolon to Santa Elena Canyon is closed west of Cottonwood Campground.
Use caution on all unpaved roads in the park, as they may be muddy or impassable. Use caution in low lying areas as the river may be at or above flood level over the next 3 days..

The collection of any resource is prohibited in Big Bend National Park; be on the lookout for illegal collecting activities and report suspicious activities, including vehicle descriptions and physical information for persons observed, to a visitor center, ranger, or by calling park dispatch at 432-477-1188 immediately.
