You can learn more about unrelated donor transplants from the National Marrow Donor Program's Office of Patient Advocacy (OPA). The OPA offers free booklets, fact sheets and worksheets for patients. You can order them online or by calling toll free in the United States at (888) 999-6743. Outside the United States, call (612) 627-8140.

The National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) is ready to answer your questions about unrelated donor stem cell transplants. NMDP staff can give you information and help you find resources. They can connect you to NMDP transplant centers. They can also provide patient support and advocacy services. These services are free.

To talk to someone in the NMDP's Office of Patient Advocacy, call between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central time: (888) 999-6743 or (612) 627-8140.
