The National Map Seamless Data Distribution System provides custom-generated digital products based on user specified geographic extents and user specified datasets. Seamless digital data is available to users in several optional formats for delivery via web downloads or CD media.

The National Map Seamless Data Distribution System will provide data at the exact boundaries that you specify resulting in a more efficient delivery system and a more manageable dataset.


During the transition to the new Seamless interface, some high resolution orthoimagery will not be available from the current seamless interface, but are available from the new interface. Check these links to see which interface has the imagery you are interested in obtaining.

Try the new SDDS Map Interface!

SDDS will soon provide all of the current datasets using a new map interface. The new interface will have more tools and allow for more ordering options. We are currently transitioning the datasets from the old (current) viewer to the new viewer.
Datasets now available only in the new viewer:

  • BLM 0.5m Orthoimagery (New Mexico)
  • Landsat Mosaic
  • San Francisco - Oakland, CA Orthoimagery
  • Reno, NV Orthoimagery
  • Additional Cleveland, OH Orthoimagery datasets
  • Glynn County, GA Orthoimagery
  • Sea Island, GA Orthoimagery
