Earthquake Research Research activities supported by the USGS Earthquake Hazards Program are coordinated through twenty-four different research projects.  These projects are either regionally or topically based and include a suite of scientific activities across an array of different earth science disciplines.  A brief summary of each project is provided.  Each synopsis is reflective of activities on-going in the 2002 fiscal year.
