Emergency Alert System
County Codes for Washington
For those of you with the newer programmable Emergency
Alert System-type weather radios, the county codes for
Washington State are available at the
Washington State Assn of Broadcasters EAS.
The codes are necessary to properly program your radio to
the county or counties you are concerned about, you limit
the warning alarm activations to those you want to receive.
We are interested in your feedback on NOAA Weather Radio.
Specifically, we desire your input regarding..... ....the
new voices, Donna and Craig,
....programming for the Seattle, Puget Sound, Olympia,
Neah Bay and Mt Octopus/Forks weather radio stations,
....and any other feedback you may have.
Send us your feedback via
Wx.Radio.Seattle@noaa.gov. We appreciate your help,
and thanks for listening to NOAA Weather Radio, Washington
State's "all-hazards" warning system.
