National Bone Health Campaign

Overview

Carla and her friends from the National Bone Health CampaignThe National Bone Health Campaign uses a social marketing approach to promote optimal bone health among girls 9–12 years. Resources for this campaign include a Web site for girls, and print materials, radio and print advertisements for girls and parents. This campaign is a result of a partnership between two agencies of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Office on Women’s Health), and the National Osteoporosis Foundation.
