 Lung Cancer Awareness NEW!
More men and women die from lung cancer than any other type of cancer. CDC offers resources for lung cancer prevention and control. Visit CDC's new Lung Cancer Web site for more information about lung cancer and CDC's activities.

 National Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October was National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP) helps low income, uninsured, and underserved women gain access to lifesaving screening programs for early detection of breast and cervical cancers.

 2004/2005 Cancer Fact Sheets
Visit Fact Sheets to access the new Program Fact Sheets and Science In Briefs for 2004/2005. Program Fact Sheets include facts about the disease, CDC's efforts to reduce the disease burden, and descriptions of funded program activities. Science In Briefs provide an overview of selected research projects for CDC's cancer activities.

 Prostate Cancer Awareness
