Every American should be confident that whether they lose their job, change jobs, get sick, or just grow old, they will be able to find affordable, high quality health care. But it is becoming more and more difficult for hard-working Americans to afford health insurance. Today, one in six Americans do not have health insurance, and millions more are under-insured. From middle class workers to seniors to veterans, Americans across the country are struggling for to pay for doctor appointments, hospital visits and prescription drugs. Democrats are fighting for programs that will make health care affordable and accessible to all Americans.
