Network, Mothers of Asthmatics (AANMA)
AANMA, a national nonprofit network of families, offers information
about living with allergies and asthma, including information on
policy issues such as pending legislation and children’s rights at
school.

Asthma: A Strategic Plan for the Department of Health and Human
Services (May 2000)
This strategy is designed to help achieve the national Healthy
People 2010 goals for asthma. The strategy envisions close
coordination between DHHS initiatives and activities led by

community-based organizations, providers of medical care,
businesses, and other federal, state, local, and tribal
government agencies in pursuit of progress in these areas over
the next five years.
