Department of Labor Chapter Gospel Choir
The Choir was organized by Blacks in Government (BIG), Department of Labor (DOL) Chapter in 1984 with eight members to perform at Martin Luther King, Jr. celebrations and African-American History Month activities. Today, the Choir consists of 40 members of diverse ethnic backgrounds and has a place of prominence among government agencies as well as the National Organization of Blacks In Government, Inc. (BIG). Bennett B. Gamble, Sr. has served as Choir Director for more than 15 years.
