This method determines manganese by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Sample pretreatment according to EPA Method 200.0 determines the applicability.

Conc Range:
0.10 - 3.0 mg/L (optimal range); 0.05 mg/L (sensitivity).
Interferences: For interferences see EPA Method 200.0. Background correction is recommended as well as the necessity if standard addition is required.
