Goals
  • Implement an up-to-date training program addressing Service realty needs.
  • Cooperate with other land managing agencies in realty and GIS training.
  • Develop an expanded GIS curriculum that supports field office needs.
  • Provide training support for Service transition to Internet applications.
  • Provide training support for new national information systems.
  • Provide resources to IRM community in basic computer literacy training.
  • Address other new technologies & techniques "just-in-time".

Purpose
To provide training in specialized tools, technologies, and techniques to enhance and support natural resource management and decision making.

  • Provide New Technology and Techniques Training "Just-in-Time".
  • Assist in Implementation of National Systems through Training.
  • Cooperate with Major Technical Training Providers & Agencies.
