HUNTING ON NATIONAL FORESTS

Hunting is allowed on National Forest lands. There are many hunting opportunities in the Colville National Forest. Big game species include elk, mule deer, white-tailed deer, black bear, mountain lion.

OUTDOOR SAFETY

If you'll be going into an area that is unfamiliar to you, take along someone who knows the area or at least speak with those who do before you set out. If an area is closed, do not go there. More about outdoor safety.



FIREWOOD PERMITS

To cut firewood for personal use on National Forest and BLM lands in Washington, you must have a Personal Use Firewood Permit.
