2004 Earth Day Art Contest Winners
EPA's Office of Solid Waste sponsored an art contest in 2003 to celebrate
Earth Day 2004. OSW invited students in grades K-6 to develop a poster using
the theme "Painting a Path to a World with Less Waste" and students
in grades 7-12 to submit a CD-ROM cover with the theme "Design a World
With Less Waste." Winners were selected from more than 14,000 entries
from across the country. Runners-up from each age category, as well as the
winners, have been programmed into an animated screen saver which can be
downloaded on to your computer.
