Description

The National Dairy Council (NDC), established in 1915 by the dairy industry, conducts and funds research on the nutritional value of the U.S. food supply, foods and health, and the role of milk nutrients in health and diet. NDC also develops nutrition education programs and materials for children in preschool and elementary schools, consumers, and health professionals. Educational publications, films, and newsletters--ordered and prepaid by mail--should be received within 30 days.

NDC publishes educational booklets, posters, films, and newsletters on such topics as children's diets, growth and development, key nutrition issues, and the role of nutrition in health.. Serial publications: Dairy Council Digest, bimonthly--nutrition research information for professionals; Nutrition News,three times a year--nutrition research, developments, and teaching approaches. A network of Dairy Council offices accross the country provide nutrition resources in their communities.
