This site provides pricing and ordering information for the wide range of products available for sale from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). These products include those produced by the USGS, as well as those produced by other Federal agencies and distributed by the USGS. Prices for some products vary.
Each of the product category pages includes links to more detailed or descriptive information about the products, the prices and available distribution media (such as paper, tape, or compact disc), and links to ordering online or by mail. Many USGS products are distributed on several types of media, but all products are not available on all media. A blank price field indicates that the product is not available on that media. Many USGS topographic map, digital cartographic and geographic data, as well as aerial photography and image products can be purchased from authorized USGS Business Partners. Contact them directly for their pricing and ordering information. Most products can also be ordered online through EarthExplorer. Note: As of April 30, 2003, the Global Land Information System (GLIS) is no longer available. More comprehensive information on USGS products is also available. The pricing structure of these products is consistent
with guidance contained in the Office of Management and Budget Circular A-130,
which permits government agencies to recover only reproduction and distribution
costs from the sales of their products.
