OCEM's FACA Committees

The Office of Cooperative Environmental Management has direct management responsibility for the operation of several EPA federal advisory committees. In fulfilling its mission, OCEM is committed to providing expert and timely advice while strengthening the federal advisory committee process.

Good Neighbor Environmental Board (GNEB)

The Good Neighbor Environmental Board (GNEB) advises the President and Congress on environmental and infrastructure issues along the U.S.Border with Mexico.


National Advisory Committee (NAC) and
Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC)

           to the U.S. Representative to the Commission for
           Environmental Cooperation (CEC)

The National and Governmental Advisory Committees counsel the U.S. Representative to the Commission for Environmental Cooperation, who is the EPA Administrator, on a wide range of strategic, scientific, technological, regulatory, and economic issues regarding implementation of the environmental side accords to the North American Free Trade Agreement.


National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy and Technology (NACEPT)

The National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy and Technology (NACEPT) advises the Administrator and other EPA officials on a variety of environmental policy and regulatory matters.
