President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate Ronald Weiser to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Slovak Republic.

"Ron Weiser is a leader in his community and a successful entrepreneur who has been active in numerous civic and philanthropic activities. As U.S Ambassador, he will build on the strong relationship that the U.S. and the Slovak Republic enjoy.
