A Note on This Edition of the Core List
This edition of the Core List is a complete revision of the original version, which was published in 1993 as EPA publication EPA 220-R-93-007. Since the 1993 document, the Core List has been updated regularly on the EPA web site at http://www.epa.gov/natlibra/core/coretoc.htm .
The Core List has been revised to include many new resources. Several sources have been omitted from the previous version of the list because they had been superceded by other items or were out of print and had become too difficult to obtain. An electronic resources section has been added under each subject area that lists CD-ROM, online and Internet resources.
The EPA Library Network plans to update the Core List periodically, expanding it to include new information sources and new media formats.
