DfE Auto Refinish Best Practices Outreach Kit AvailableThe DfE Best Practices Outreach Kit, developed for site visits and train-the-trainer workshops, serves as an excellent resource for shops. The Kit contains best practices checklists for each auto refinish activity, fact sheets, case studies, health and safety information, lists of manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, and other useful information for shop owners and technicians. Integrated Environmental Management Systems Implementation Guide and Company Manual Template for Small Businesses AvailableThe IEMS Implementation Guide is now available. This document can help organizations create and document their own IEMS by providing information on the steps involved with developing an IEMS. It provides simple, thorough directions that are clear even to those unfamiliar with environmental management planning. The guide includes worksheets, examples, and step-by-step guidance on process mapping, environmental policy development, risk assessment, and evaluating cleaner alternatives. The IEMS Company Manual Template for Small Businesses is also available. This template offers an example of how companies would effectively develop their IEMS when working with the above manual. It contains tables and other features that companies can customize along with procedures and associated formats for an IEMS.
