FY 05 Exchange Network Grant Program Announced
The EPA's Office of Environmental Information has published the solicitation
notice for the 2005 version of the Exchange Network Grants Program at
http://www.epa.gov/Networkg/
The Exchange Network is where some of the new technologies in communication,
like XML, node transfers, and web services, will be used to help with AQS
submissions and reports. AQS is a major Agency system and participant in the
Exchange Network and grant funding is available to help State and tribal
agencies using AQS adopt and implement these new technologies.The key
deadlines in this process are:
November 19, 2004 – Deadline for submitting questions about this notice to EPA
December 6, 2004 – Question-and-answer teleconference for applicants (tentative)
January 15, 2005 (midnight, applicant’s local time) – Deadline for submitting
applications to EPA
