Customer Service is on the Move


EPA's Customer Service Program (CSP) will enable the agency and its employees to increase their customer focus and understand that when we serve our customers well, we can better accomplish our mission of protecting public health and the natural environment.

The CSP is implementing a strategy that includes:

  1. Developing and implementing customer service standards;
  2. Building staff and partners awareness with Customer Service Information and skills training;
  3. Building staff capacity to perform customer feedback and satisfaction measurement;
  4. Benchmarking customer service excellence at other agencies and in the private sector;
  5. Sponsoring annual customer service conferences;
  6. Broad networking with organizations developing and implementing similar customer service activities;
  7. Supporting work that will prompt process improvements (innovation) throughout EPA;
