PESP Grants

There are two separate grants programs that are associated with PESP. Each is administered differently and has unique eligibility requirements.

Regional PESP Grants

Also known as Regional Initiative Grants, the Regional PESP Grants are administered by EPA's regional offices. These grants support pollution prevention projects that are important to and complement ongoing efforts in the EPA regional offices.

new item logoThe call for proposals for 2004 Regional Initiative Grants was announced in the Federal Register on July 16, 2004. National Foundation for IPM Education Grants

The National Foundation for IPM Education (NFIPME), Exit EPA disclaimer using funding from U.S. EPA's Office of Pesticide Programs, offers PESP Project Grants. These grants support the overall goal of PESP which is to reduce the risks from the use of pesticides in agricultural and non-agricultural settings in the U.S. Their website contains additional information on previously funded projects Exit EPA disclaimer

USDA IR-4 Biopesticide Grant Program new item logo

The IR-4 Biopesticide Research Program announces a request for grant proposals for funding of efficacy research in 2005. The primary objective of the IR-4 Biopesticides Research Program is to further the development and registration of biopesticides for use in pest management systems for specialty crops or for minor uses on major crops.
