American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association

American Gastroenterological Association

American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons

Practice parameters for ambulatory anorectal surgery. This updates a previously published guideline summary.

Practice parameters for the treatment of patients with dominantly inherited colorectal cancer (familial adenomatous polyposis and hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer).


Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

(1) Prevention and control of influenza: recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). (2) Interim influenza vaccination recommendations — 2004–05 influenza season. (3) Influenza antiviral medications: 2004-05 interim chemoprophylaxis and treatment guidelines. This is an addendum to a previously published guideline summary.

Task Force on Community Preventive Services

Therapeutic foster care for the prevention of violence: a report on recommendations of the Task Force on Community Preventive Services.


University of Michigan Health System

Newly Submitted
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has published recommendations on newborn screening for cystic fibrosis.

Two new titles have been released from the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE):
Practice Guideline Initiative (PGI) has recently published: The role of taxanes in first-line therapy of advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
