Classroom Activities

Child with globe of the Earth This section includes resources to help teachers and educate students (grades 2-12) about the Superfund Program. It includes several activities, environmental cleanup videos, and a participatory program in which classrooms collect weather data for EPA.

Environmental Education Video Program Exit Disclaimer - The Environmental Response Team Video (ERTV) education program offers eight video-based modules to teachers of high school and college biology and environmental science. The FREE videos highlight real-world environmental clean-up efforts.

HAZ-ED - Classroom Activities for Understanding Hazardous Waste - HAZED is designed to help students develop skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making. Hazed can be used as part of a larger curriculum, as special stand-alone activities, or on an occasional basis to teach students about hazardous waste issues. The education materials were developed to focus on 7th through 12th grade students.
