Upcoming Public Meetings Environmental Laboratory Advisory Board (ELAB) Meeting Dates, and Agenda The Environmental Protection Agency's Environmental Laboratory Advisory Board (ELAB), as previously announced, will have teleconference meetings on October 20, 2004 at 1 p.m. e.s.t.; November 17, 2004 at 1 p.m. e.s.t.; December 15, 2004 at 1 p.m. e.s.t.; and January 19, 2005 at 1 p.m. e.s.t. to discuss the ideas and views presented at the previous ELAB meetings, as well as new business. Meeting of the Ozone Transport Commission The United States Environmental Protection Agency is announcing the 2004 Fall Meeting of the Ozone Transport Commission (OTC). This meeting will explore options available for reducing ground-level ozone precursors in a multi-pollutant context.The meeting will be held on November 9, 2004 starting at 1 p.m., and November 10, 2004 starting at 9 a.m. The EPA Science Advisory Board (SAB) Staff Office announces a public meeting of the Ecological Effects Subcommittee (EES) of the Advisory Council on Clean Air Compliance Analysis (Council). The EES will discuss charge questions related to ecological issues as found in the Office of Air and Radiation's Benefits and Costs of the Clean Air Act, Revised Analytic Plan for EPA's Second Prospective Analysis, 1990-2020. The public meeting of the Council EES will be held on November 5, 2004 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Science Advisory Board Staff Office; Notification of Advisory Meeting of the Science Advisory Board Illegal Competitive Advantage Economic Benefit Advisory PanelThe Science Advisory Board (SAB) Illegal Competitive Advantage (ICA) Economic Benefit (EB) Advisory Panel will hold a public teleconference to finalize its draft advisory report to the Agency on economic methods related to assessing economic benefits attributed to non-compliance with EPA regulations. Board of Scientific Counselors, Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals Subcommittee Meetings The Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Research and Development (ORD), gives notice of four meetings of the Board of Scientific Counselors (BOSC) Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDC) Subcommittee.Three conference call meetings will be held on: (1) Tuesday, November 2, 2004 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., (2) Wednesday, December 1, 2004 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., and (3) Thursday, January 6, 2005 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. One face-to-face meeting will begin on Monday, December 13, 2004 (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.); continue on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.); and conclude on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 (8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.). FIFRA Scientific Advisory Panel; Notice of Public MeetingThere will be a 1-day meeting of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act Scientific Advisory Panel (FIFRA SAP) to consider and review the N-methyl carbamate risk assessment strategies, and methodologies for exposure assessment.The meeting will be held on December 3, 2004, from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 5 p.m. Eighth Meeting of the World Trade Center Expert Technical Review Panel To Continue Evaluation on Issues Relating to Impacts of the Collapse of the World Trade Center TowersThe World Trade Center Expert Technical Review Panel (or WTC Expert Panel) will hold its eighth meeting intended to provide for greater input on ongoing efforts to monitor the situation for New York residents and workers impacted by the collapse of the World Trade Center (WTC). The eighth meeting of the WTC Expert Panel will be held on November 15, 2004, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., eastern standard time. On- site registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Meeting of the National Drinking Water Advisory Council Notice of Public MeetingThe primary purpose of this meeting is for the Council to meet with representatives of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to discuss public health issues related to the nation's drinking water. The Council meeting will be held on December 1, 2004, from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., and December 2, 2004, from 8:30 a.m. until noon, eastern time.
