This geological model of the 1994 Northridge earthquake was created by researchers at the NSF-funded Earthquake Engineering Research Center at the University of California at Berkeley. This three-dimensional view of the 6.7 magnitude earthquake gives scientists a better understanding of the geological forces behind earthquakes.
