Model of a galaxy formation Satellites, the Hubble Space Telescope, and observatories around the world provide data to Earth-bound scientists. Once received, the data are sent, via the Internet, to researchers around the country. At the University of Illinois-based National Center for Supercomputing Applications, Frank Summers of Princeton University used the data to create a model of a galaxy formation.
