Endangered Species Protection Program Databases
The databases available here are the endangered species by county database
(ES_COUNT.DBF) and the species information database (SPECIES.DBF). They are contained in a
self-extracting compressed file named "county99.exe." Once you have
downloaded the file to a directory on your computer, you can extract all the files in the
archive by simply typing the name of the file at the DOS prompt.
The databases here have been updated as of December 31, 1999. The Agency's Endangered
Species Protection Program will release newer, updated files periodically.
