Pesticide Special ReviewThe Special Review process is set in motion when EPA has reason to believe that the use of a pesticide may result in unreasonable adverse effects to people or the environment. The goal of this process is to reduce the risks posed by a pesticide to an acceptable level while taking into consideration the benefits provided by the use of the pesticide.
