On Thursday, June 21, 2010, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform will hold a hearing entitled: Foreclosure Prevention, Part II: Are Loan Servicers Honoring Their Commitments to Help Preserve Homeownership?" The committee is investigating the overall effectiveness of processes put in place by loan servicers as they implement HAMP and any other loan modification programs that help homeowners avoid foreclosures.
