Courtroom assignments, starting times, and case order are posted at the session links below six weeks in advance of each argument session. Court generally convenes at 9:30 a.m., except on the last day of the session, when it convenes at 8:30 a.m. En banc arguments begin at 9:00 a.m. Counsel is notified in advance of any change in the starting time and must register for argument 30-45 minutes before court starts. For attorney registration times, click here.

The calendar includes a brief description of the case and links to the briefs and appendices on PACER. The description is prepared by the clerk's office and does not reflect the court's views or limit the issues counsel may argue.

The identity of the panel assigned to hear argument pursuant to IOP 34.1 is not disclosed until the morning of argument. The identity of the panel and a link to the audio file of the oral argument are posted at Listen to Oral Arguments the following business day.
