On June 18, 2013, DC City Council passed vending regulations regarding the sell of goods and services exclusively from public space and for the immediate delivery upon purchase (i.e., food trucks, hot dog carts, sidewalk merchandise vendors, ice cream, etc.). Title 24, Chapter 5 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (DCMR) is effective October 1, 2013.
