Coronavirus Telephone Town Hall

As our nation grapples with the impacts of COVID-19 (coronavirus), it is imperative that you and your families are well informed about the actions that the federal government and our state and local officials are taking in the face of this public health crisis. Congresswoman Maxine Waters (CA-43), Chair of the House Financial Services Committee, will host a second district wide telephone town hall for residents of California's 43rd Congressional District on Thursday, April 2, at 6:00pm PT. The event will feature representatives from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, the IRS, the California Employment Development Department, and the Small Business Administration who will discuss coronavirus testing and preventive measures, direct cash payments to families, unemployment benefits, housing assistance, and small business relief.
