Appropriations Requests

The Appropriations’ Member database will open at 10 AM on Monday, April 4, 2022. Subcommittee Dear Colleagues, Guidance and each submission deadline are available below.

The deadlines by Subcommittee are as follows:

April 27: Financial Services and General Government; Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies; Legislative Branch; State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs
April 28: Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies; Defense; Homeland Security; Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies;
April 29: Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies; Energy and Water Development, and Related Agencies; Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies; Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies

INSTRUCTIONS

To meet the needs of communities across the United States, the Appropriations Committee accepts programmatic, language-based and Community Project Funding requests from Members of Congress. Members and staff have been provided with information on submitting requests through an internal Committee-maintained database, which will open for submissions on April 4, 2022.

As part of the important reforms associated with Community Project Funding, the Committee is requiring Members to submit a certification that neither they nor their immediate families have any financial interest in projects they request. A template for such certification is available here.
