Congressional App Challenge

Congresswoman Wild is proud to present that PA-07 will be participating in the 2022 Congressional App Challenge, a district-wide challenge for middle school and high school students, encouraging them to learn to code and inspiring them to pursue careers in computer science. The Congressional App Challenge began in October 2015 after being unanimously passed by the Committee on House Administration.

 

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible to participate in the Congressional App Challenge, you must be a middle or high school student at the time of app submission.

Students may register as individuals or as teams of up to four. No more than four students are allowed to form a team.

Students may compete in the district they reside in or the district they attend school in.

If competing as a team, at least half of the teammates must be eligible to compete in the district in which they are participating in.

IMPORTANT DATES 2021:

April 1 – Student pre-registration opens

June 15 – Challenge officially launches

November 1 – Deadline for students to register and submit their app online. Student apps are due at 12pm EST.

November – Judging period

December – Winners announced
