The Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) that originates a Service form has responsibility for maintenance, distribution and revision of the form.   The Division of Policy and Directives Management:

• Oversees the Servicewide forms management program, including review, approval, and numbering.
• Ensures that forms and their instructions are written in plain language .
• Ensures that forms serve their intended purpose and that there is no existing form serving the same purpose.
• Ensures that forms comply with the Paperwork Reduction Act, Privacy Act, and other legislative requirements.
• Posts and maintains forms on the Internet and Service Internal Intranet (SII).
• Maintains an up-to-date and accurate inventory of all Service forms.
