The Defense Information System Network (DISN) is a Wide Area Network (WAN) that gives access to LOGRUN. Access is also possible via Internet Protocol addresses and the Nonsecure/Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET/SIPRNET) which replaces the Defense Data Network (DDN). LOGRUN can be configured in multiple ways: through direct connect to the DISN or through a Service/Agency network specific interface link called gateways. Current gateways include the Navy Logistics Network (NLN), the Marine Corps Data Network (MCDN), the Department of Veteran's Affairs (VANET), the US Postal Services' Network and the NASA Network. Access to LOGRUN is limited to US Government employees
and private industry activities under contract to the US Government
that require such access to complete the contract. The LOGRUN Quick Reference Guide is now available at this Web Site! NOTE: You must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader to view this document. If you don't currently have the Acrobat Reader, you can download a free copy for Windows, Macintosh, Unix, or DOS from Adobe Systems Incorporated. For Government Employees interested in LOGRUN, DLIS has an automated registration form you can complete at this time: DLIS Form 1782. If you are a Government Sponsored Contractor and you need to gain access to LOGRUN in order to fulfill your contractual obligations, please go to the Forms and Pubs section and select the registration form for government sponsored contractors.
