The Women’s Heart Foundation is an international coalition of nurse executives,
civic leaders, community health directors, member hospitals, partners, providers
and corporate sponsors responding to the health crisis of women’s heart disease
by implementing an integrated model that promotes wellness, early intervention
and excellence of care for women. Symptoms of a heart attack may be milder in
women and making the correct diagnosis can be a challenge. Read on to find out

- Noreen's page. Noreen Daly Carlson was a beautiful 47-year-old mother of two who experienced sudden death from heart disease when her symptoms went undiagnosed. She was a health-conscious and fit woman known to be very assertive about her healthcare needs, yet even she was talked out of her symptoms. When she was placed on medicines to treat anxiety and depression, her condition worsened rapidly. This page is dedicated in her memory by her loving family who contribute generously to the Women's Heart Foundation so that other women's lives may be saved.
