Catron County Restoration Project PDF 3.3 MB
A former county commissioner and a logger and tree thinner from Reserve, New Mexico, have teamed up to create employment in Catron County. Recipients of a Collaborative Forest Restoration Program (CFRP) federal grant, Carl Livingston and Jim Kellar were awarded $360,000 for forest restoration that started in June on the Gila National Forest in the Sheep Basin area near Reserve.


The National Fire Plan is a cooperative, long-term effort among various governmental agency partners. Important Notices
