BEARFACTS

BEA Regional Facts—BEARFACTS—consists of computer-generated narratives for states, counties, metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs), and BEA Economic Areas. The narratives describe an area's personal income using current estimates, growth rates, and a breakdown of the sources of personal income.

You may compare the year of your choice (1979–2003) with a year that falls ten years prior, for example 2003 compared to 1993. A clickable state map will guide you.

State BEARFACTS are based on the state estimates published on September 28, 2004.

Counties, metropolitan statistical areas, and state BEARFACTS are based on the county estimates published on May 25, 2004.
