Space Projects
The mission of the Flight Projects Directorate is to manage MSFC-assigned payload/mission integration and operations. To manage all Spacelab activities, including system design/development, interfaces, integration, engineering, and operations planning efforts.To manage the Space Station payload utilization vehicle carrier integration, vehicle supporting development, node project engineering activities, support of the Multi-Purpose Logistics Module (MPLM), and Station Life Support Systems development and integration. To manage instrument development/acquisition, including associated science, technology, and applications activities.
