ENERGY STAR Meetings

ENERGY STAR periodically hosts meetings for partners and industry to gather to discuss new program initiatives, product specifications or other outreach activities. In addition, these meetings offer ENERGY STAR partners the opportunity to network with others to develop relationships and collaborations to promote ENERGY STAR.

OCTOBER 2004

2004 National ENERGY STAR HVAC Partner and Stakeholder Meeting


    Date:October 6, 2004
    Location:Chicago, IL
    Description:

    Hosted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, the 2004 HVAC meeting will focus on future program direction for heating and cooling equipment. Key discussion topics will include the ENERGY STAR specification in relation to the 2006 federal standard, and near- and medium-term options for addressing quality installation practices. Partners will also have opportunities to discuss potential collaboration efforts for 2005 and beyond.

    Registration fees are $150 and include a welcome reception on October 5 as well as breakfast, lunch and all meeting breaks on October 6. Online meeting registration is available until September 24.

2004 National ENERGY STAR Appliance Partner Meeting

    Location:Chicago, IL
    Description:

    Hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy and the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, the 2004 Appliance Partner Meeting will focus on current ENERGY STAR strategies, plans and promotions for 2005 and U.S. DOE updates on current efforts and future directions for the program.

    Registration fees are $250 and include a breakfast, lunch, and all meeting breaks on October 4 and 5, in addition to an evening reception at Sears Tower on October 4. Online meeting registration is available until September 24.

ENERGY STAR Imaging Equipment Specification Revision - Stakeholder Meeting Word icon

    Description: This will be a roundtable discussion of the key elements in the Imaging Equipment Directional Draft. We will explore the Typical Electricity Consumption (TEC) concept in depth, discussing its feasibility for various products. EPA will also summarize the feedback it has received on the Directional Draft. The meeting will run from 9:30 a.m. until approximately 3:00 p.m. and will be held at the offices of ICF Consulting at 1725 Eye Street, NW, Washington, DC.
