• Annual Performance Report FY 2001
  The Annual Performance Report FY 2001 documents VA's progress in providing high-quality, timely benefits and services to America's Veterans. This report identifies the achievements VA recorded during FY 2001 that have contributed to attaining the goals and objectives in the VA Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plan. In so doing, this report provides detailed information to Congress, OMB, Veterans Service Organizations, and other stakeholders on how well we are doing in meeting our committment to honor our Veterans and to compensate them for their sacrifices.
   
• Department of Veterans Affairs' FY 2001 Budget Submission - Summary Volume
  The summary volume includes an overview of the Department’s congressional budget submission, budget highlights by program, and funding resources tables. The Summary Volume focuses primarily on the budget year 2001 - the upcoming fiscal year for which Congress needs to make appropriations. It also includes actual data on 1999 and current estimates for 2000. There are sections in the volume containing historical tables going back to 1992 and expenditures by state.



• Capital Investments
  The VA Capital Investments Web site offers a calendar of events, hot issues, the choice to download the Capital Investment Proposal Application and the Capital Investment Methodology Guide, an overview of the planning process, a reference library, and other pertinent information.
   
• VA Strategic Plan 2003-2008
  This VA Strategic Plan addresses the President’s Management Agenda and defines the key strategies the Department will implement to meet the President’s goals. This plan, and the new governance process that we have established, will serve as the cornerstones of VA’s effort to strengthen our overall management, accountability, and stewardship of VA resources, and our implementation of the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA). The plan also communicates a top-level summary of VA’s long-term direction and will be shared extensively with our partners and stakeholders.
   
• Departmental Performance Plan for Fiscal Year 2001
  The FY 2001 Performance Plan describes how VA will achieve its goals and objectives to provide high quality benefits and services to the men and women who served in the armed forces. It includes a detailed discussion of our key performance measures and what we expect to achieve with the resources we request in our budget.
   
• The Fiscal Year 2001 Information Technology Strategic Plan
  The VA IT Strategic Plan provides the overarching strategy and priorities to guide the capital, budget, operational, and tactical planning for IT by the Department's administrations and staff offices. • Office of Inspector General Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 1998–2003
  The Office of Inspector General Strategic Plan focuses on the formulation of long-term organizational goals, strategies for achieving these goals, and performance measures for assessing progress and accomplishments against the goals.
