Top: Participants debrief the group at a Women Waging Peace training workshop. Bottom: The Institute partners with the Defense Institute of International Legal Studies to conduct a workshop on conflict management skills used in international humanitarian and peace operations.

The Professional Training Program develops and presents programs that help government officials, military and police personnel, international organization representatives, civic activists, and leaders of non-governmental organizations--both American and international--improve their conflict management skills. Training in these skills is highly interactive, and draws heavily on the professional experiences of the participants themselves. For more information please see our Recent Training Programs.
